The Milford Community hosts an Independence Day Celebration each year. The Parade, Park Lunch & Carnival, Free Swim and Money Dive, and Fireworks are held on the 4th each year unless it falls on a Sunday, then it takes place on Saturday. 

Other activities - scheduled around the 4th or the weekend closest to it - include a Fun Run 4K, a dance hosting Milford's own NewRotic Sound.  The Milford Golf Association proudly hosts the Annual July 4th Golf Tournament as well.
